Hello all,
The play is coming along quite...slowly BUT surely! I mean, it's coming along quickly because we don't have much time to rehearse but what I meant is that we are slowly warming up to each other. Well, perhaps I should only speak on behalf of myself, since I usually take longer to warm up to people, for whatever reason, it could have something to do with my being neglected as a child...
ANYWAYS, there are a lot of sardines in this play! I haven't quite found the perfect ones for the props, so I've been having the cast rehearse with just the plates but I really do think the sardines is what is going to make this show extra special, so I'm taking extra care in finding the perfect ones!
Llyod has an unbelievable artistic eye and it is inspiring not only to the actors but to me as well. He knows so much it's incredible. He's such a great director. In my humble opinion.
OH! The doors are also a very important aspect of the show. But I won't say anything more about it. I don't want to give too much away.
Thanks for reading,
Poppy
