Hello there everyone! Sorry I’ve been rather absent from the blog. I kept trying to think of something to say but I was having a very hard time forming any developed thoughts to share with the digital world. I suppose I just need more sleep J
Rehearsals are going splendidly! Of course there are the usual trials and tribulations of putting on a show like Nothing On, but everyone is staying loose and taking it like the pros they are. We never hesitate to bend over for the sake of Lloyd’s art, even when new things get rammed in at the last minute! Everyone’s dedication has remained intact despite some less than ideal events involving canned fish, contact lenses, and copious amounts of single malt scotch.
On the other hand we have been blessed with the presence of the illustrious Dotty Otley. I still can’t believe I’m acting alongside such a beacon of theatrical talent. And to top it all off she’s a top-notch human being. She’s always there to share her wisdom and keep me focused (as I sometimes stray off topic); she’s just so good at keeping on top of me. I can’t say enough about her... literally. I try and try but I always seem to get tongue tied before I get all my words out. However, I’m confident that everyone knows what I’m really trying to say!
Well, I’m off to rehearsal soon so I’d better pack it in. I hope to see you all in the theatre in about three weeks time!
