OPENING NIGHT

Soooooooo Tommorow Night is opening night and wow am I nervous.... I've had a tissue stuck in my noise for the last 47 minutes.... The show is ready to go up, the technical crew have been working to the bone for the past month and everything looks amazing!!! Our stage managers have been great and have really supported us, hopefully we can make them proud. My rehearsal process has really grown and I am really starting to enjoy the stage again. I am totally ready to perform

Dress Rehearsal

Hello loves!

The rehearsal process is rather exciting and fascinating. We've worked tremendously hard and we hope that it all pays off! The dress rehearsal went rather well tonight. It's only a little past our bedtimes, but anything for the wonder of theatre!

Not only does an apple a day keep the doctor away but getting enough sleep does, too. Now go and rest your little heads on your little pillows in your little beds and have little dreams that guide you through your sleep!

Turkey time!

Hello!

I hope you have all had a lovely thanksgiving weekend. I certainly have! I've had a chance to visit with some old friends and family. Chatting with them has been great... although, I must admit that I often feel like they're not quite getting my point for some reason. I'll say all kinds of intelligent things and I'm met with blank stares. I can't figure out why. It makes me feel very, sort of... y'know :)

I can't wait to get back to rehearsals! I've missed everyone so. We've had our problems and opening night is terrifyingly close and we're not really ready and half the props aren't made and the set is rarely facing the right direction and tempers are rising; but it's all part of the theatre and I love it! Anyway the point I was originally making is... well... you know what I mean ;)

Just One Of Those Days

Here's a quick update on how the rehearsal process is coming along. Today was just another day for the cast of Nothing On: tears, falls, nosebleeds, run-on sentences, unfinished sentences, whisky, misunderstandings, doors, sardines ... a bit of everything, really!

Everyone's all cheery as usual and nothing's wrong!

Get as much sleep as you can, sweets! It's very important that you do.

Two weeks....F***!

Hi fellow TV lovers....and theatre enthusiasts!

We've made it to the last 2 weeks of rehearsals and boy is this fun.... Tensions are rising, AA meetings are piling up and Poppy has been moody...in a glowing kind of way. I am having some fun out there, on the planks. The script is fabulous, Robin Housemonger is a literary genius. I have a feeling the audiences are going to be talking about their experience for a very long time. I don't have much to say this week, except for this: I've heard that Lloyd and B ......Crap my cue! BYE

Tensions Rising

I honestly thought todays rehersal was going pretty good; I was actually having fun for a change, people were all getting along with each other, and I was really starting to appreciate Poppy and all that she does while Lloyd has me off doing... well, not what I should be doing. And that's all I'll say about it because if I keep going I'll get frustrated again... But anyway, it was all going well until our lunch break and I heard Dotty getting very angry with how much garbage Lloyd keeps leaving around the break room. That then made me angry because I am constantly cleaning up after all her diva make up crap in her dressing room that i really should NOT have to deal with and i just really wish she would stop being such a hypocrite! It's alright, really, I just need to breathe... I just need to breathe...

But yes, Poppy has been a great help. I am definatly happy I was able to get her a job on this show. She has always been able to get things done with a can do attitude, which I like. A lot. A lot a lot. I mean, she's just great :)
